On March 22, the Rechtskulturen selection committee had an intense and fruitful day-long meeting at the Wissenschaftskolleg.

Katharina de la Durantaye, Julia Eckert, Luis Eslava, Ann-Katrin Kaufhold, Irene Schneider, Milos Vec, Susanne Baer, Christoph Möllers and Alexandra Kemmerer selected a wonderful group of seven Rechtskulturen fellows for 2013-14, supported by academic assistant Lucy Chebout and project assistants Sylvi Paulick and Kerstin von der Krone. 102 candidates had submitted their applications.

Committee members Helge Dedek and Diane Desierto (who both could not be present in person this time) and about 60 other external reviewers from a broad range of disciplines and regions had provided insightful comments and evaluations. We are very grateful for their dedicated work and extraordinary commitment to our program.
